We are searching for the next generation of forestry leaders!
The NextGen Forestry Scholarship provides eligible students with an opportunity to pursue a degree in Forest Management at Mississippi State University, with scholarship support of up to $20,000 per year for four years.
This is more than a scholarship. It is a pathway into one of Mississippi’s most important industries and a chance to build a meaningful career protecting and managing the natural resources that help power our state.

The Forest Management Scholarship is a partnership between the Neshoba Youth Coalition, the Dick Molpus Foundation, and Mississippi State University, created to provide tuition support, mentorship and career opportunities, for students interested in studying Forest Management.

Minimum Criteria (Guidelines for a strong application)
- Current high school junior/senior or community college student
- Interest in forestry, conservation, or natural resources
- Willingness to participate in mentoring and enrichment activities
- Commitment to enroll at Mississippi State University in Forest Management
